Privacy Policy

Effective August 12, 2026

Overview

This policy explains how Hourback handles information when you visit hourback.co, book or pay for an assessment, contact us, or work with us. Please do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, payment-card details, protected health information, or other highly sensitive information through our booking questions, email, or assessment materials.

Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, company information, scheduling preferences, intake answers, messages, and the business materials you choose to share during an engagement.

Booking and payment information

Cal.com processes scheduling information and Stripe processes payments. Hourback receives booking, contact, payment-status, cancellation, and refund information needed to provide the service. Hourback does not receive your full payment-card number.

Website information

We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Vercel Analytics, PostHog, and OpenAI advertising measurement to understand website traffic, conversion paths, and how visitors use the site. Google Analytics is limited to standard page-view collection; enhanced measurement, Google Signals, and ad personalization are off. PostHog may record website interactions for session replay; form inputs are masked, and query strings are removed from replay URLs before they are sent. When you arrive through a campaign, we may store campaign-source and ad-click identifiers in your browser and pass them to Cal.com when you book. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, intake answers, or other information that directly identifies you in our analytics events.

How we use information

  • Schedule, prepare for, deliver, and follow up on assessments and other services.
  • Process payments, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Answer questions and communicate about your engagement.
  • Protect our website, systems, clients, and business.
  • Improve our website, services, and operations.
  • Create de-identified or aggregated insights, benchmarks, and best practices that do not identify a client, business, or person.
  • Comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

How we share information

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate, including Cal.com, Stripe, Google Workspace, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Vercel, PostHog, and OpenAI; with professional advisers when necessary; to comply with law or protect rights and safety; or with your direction. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies a client, business, or person for service improvement, benchmarking, and best-practice research. We will not attempt to re-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements. You may also opt out of non-transactional email. Send requests to hello@hourback.co. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Third-party services and changes

Third-party services have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when the current policy begins.
